Strip Clubs

When you are feeling a little blue, and you want to be teased, you need a good strip club. Most modern strip clubs can help you if you have the money, but strip clubs should be assessed based on the quality of their exoticism. At strip clubs, you want a spectacle of excess where you can pay for the power of being served, and quite possibly serviced. Keeping these factors in mind, the best strip clubs are those that provide a place to escape from the reality you happen to live.

We have handpicked the best strip clubs from around the world, and presented them to you in this list.

Hot Lap Dance

At Hot Lap Dance, they don’t beat around the bush. Brushing aside the traditional agony of watching naked chicks while surrounded by a bunch of other horny dudes, Hot Lap Dance focuses on the private lap dance. Rated as one of America’s hottest locales for sexual escape, Hot Lap Dance is located in a commercial loft space in Midtown Manhattan, and if you know anything about New Yorkers, you can rest assured the nubile girls you meet will have some kind of wild personality to go with their killer bodies. And given its private, more intimate setup, Hot Lap Dance is also one of the finest spots to let it all hang out at your bachelor party.

Night Flight

Moscow is a wild and crazy place, especially for a stranger in such a strange land, but Night Flight does its best to make you feel like a king by tickling your five senses. The Swedish-run establishment is a restaurant, a night club, a cigar lounge, and a strip club all rolled into one. Their motto is: “Nightflight: Do It Tonight.” The women are gorgeous and the scene is like an X-rated high school prom where the only goal is to get it on. And if you don’t dream of Russian booty from time to time, you clearly haven’t played Russian roulette to see how long you can hold out before the gun goes off and you topple over.

Larry Flynt's Hustler Club

With Hustler Clubs having been franchised and set up all over the States, it would be difficult to say they’re all the same, but the one in New York is a kick-ass joint. After all, the girls are New Yorkers and there’s a lot to choose from in a city full of promises and dreams. The high ceilings encourage acrobatic feats from the girls, and with a new wing for big spenders, you can look forward to blowing your wad in the brand-new themed fantasy suites.

4 Play Gentleman's Club

Located in West L.A., 4 Play is like the rest of L.A.: full of silicone blondes. The difference is that after drooling about the sexual skills of the girls on the beach, at 4 Play you get Playmate-caliber dancers who treat the pole like their best vibrator. Oddly, the joint doesn’t serve booze, but what’s the point in getting your drink on when you’d rather get a hard-on? With lap dances, couch dances and even bed dances, 4 Play is sure to have you reaching for the bankroll and begging to go all the way.

The most tantalizing strip clubs are in New York and Russia…

Spearmint Rhino

Also in Vegas is the Spearmint Rhino, which has recently been named the Gentleman’s Club of the Year at the Exotic Dancer’s Adult Nightclub & Exotic Dancer Awards Show. With over 250 dancers, the girls are piping hot and the club is always packed. Because of its success, the Spearmint Rhino has branched out and set up shop all over the world, but the original in Vegas is still the one. It's upscale, and if you can afford the cash, be sure to treat yourself to a stint in the private Rhino Room, where the world is your oyster and you call the shots.

Strip Club Guide

Strip club expenses can be broken down into five basic categories, cover charge, drinks, waitress tips, stage tips and private dance tips. Below is a each in detail:

Cover Charge
is what you will pay to get in the door of the club. The price for clubs varies, $5 to $7 is average for most clubs. Your more upscale clubs will charge slightly higher, usually in the neighborhood of $10 to $12 Nude clubs will usually top the scale due to the lack of alcohol sales. These clubs usually run $10 to $20 In some areas membership is also required. It's a good idea to call ahead. Also look in local news publications, many clubs will have discounted and even free entry if you bring in their ad.

Drinks
are always a necessity when visiting any club. Many clubs will have a drink minimum, nude clubs that don't allow any alcohol will always have at least a two drink minimum. And these fruit juices will usually set you back more than a beer at a topless club. At topless clubs drink specials are usually abundant. Beer and wine is usually not too out of line either. After all if you've got a little liquor in you, you're more likely to throw down a little more for the dancers.

Waitress Tips
and bartender tips are not required but we highly suggest it. Not only is it the gentlemanly thing to do, but in a busy club, those that tip will almost always get better service. If you frequent a club, tipping the bartenders and the wait staff will definitely pay off. You will be recognized and will receive superior service.

Stage Tips
If you sit in the row of seats around the stage there is an unwritten rule that you tip at least one dollar per song. Of course if you like a particular girl give her a little more, especially if you would like her to come find you later. Dancers hate cheapskates, but don't think you have to empty your wallet to get a little attention, just be polite and show a little gratitude for their hard work.

Private dances
include table dances, lap dances, couch dances and private room dances. There is a wide range on the price for these. The range we have seen the most is from $10 to $35 Most clubs will have 2 for 1 specials throughout the night, so if you're on a budget you might want to hold out for these. Usually a dance will last the duration of one song. In a 2 for one situation, the dance will last for two consecutive songs.

Do strip clubs have dress codes?
Some do some don't. The best policy is to call ahead if you're in question. The nicer gentlemen's clubs will usually require at least a collared shirt, and sometimes slacks as well. At the nicer clubs during the day you may feel out of place if you're not in a suit, though in the evening, everyone seems to dress more casually and khakis and a polo shirt will make you feel right at home at most any club. At a more average club, a t-shirt and jeans will be just fine.

How much should I tip? What are the general tipping guidelines?
This is always a much debated area with some people, but let us try to give you a bit of light on the subject. When sitting at the tip rail, you should generally give a $1 tip per song. If you like the dancer or she does something spectacular, definitely feel free to tip more at stage, $5, $10, $20 denominations are not usual, but not uncommon. Now in regards to tipping with private or lap dances, that is completely up to you. Many of the dancers have become accustomed to just receiving the dance fee, but an extra $5-$20 will always be appreciated. In a few remote cases, paying for a private dance just pays for the room. The dancer does not receive any of that money. In these cases tipping is expected from the dancer, and extra tipping will usually get you a much better dance.

What is a private dance?
This is a dance that dancer performs just for you. I've chosen to use "private dance" as a blanket term for these performances on this site rather than the more commonly used terms "lap dance" and "table dance." "Lap dance" implies a dance where a dancer rubs her buttocks against a customer's crotch in a sustained grind. Although dancers at club in this guide provide some grinding and contact, it would be inaccurate to describe them as lap dances. To me, "table dance" implies a rather distant dance performed where the patron happens to be sitting. As most dances at this guide's clubs are performed in designated dance areas, however, I feel that "private dance" is more accurate.
For example:In California topless and bikini clubs profiled here, private dances are performed with tops and bottoms covered. Most dances you'll see at nude clubs are topless though nude private dances are now being offered at some clubs. At Reno topless clubs, private dances are topless.

How much is a table or private dance?
This will have a wide range from club to club. As you visit new clubs, its always a good idea to ask "how much" before you agree to a table dance. We suggest you ask your waitress for dance prices. She is most likely to give you an honest answer. We have found instances where the dancer will charge more than the house rate to guarantee herself and extra tip.

How do I find out who gives the best private dances?
Well first it depends on how you define good? If good is simply a dance from the best looking girl, find one you like and ask her she will dance for you. If you are looking for the best performance, watch what a dancer is willing to do during a lap dance or couch dance. Also it doesn't hurt to do a little eavesdropping on those that have just come out from a private dance.

Once I find a dance I like, how do I get a dance?
The most common method is to wait until a dancer stops by your table and asks you. Some will engage you in conversation first while others will just ask. If this isn't working just walk up to her and ask. If you are interested in a girl that seems to be a bit more popular on that given night, tipping her well during her stage show will almost always guarantee she will stop by your table.

Should I tip at the end of a table or private dance?
In most instances, you are not expected to tip after a table or a private dance, as you have paid for the entertainment with the basic, agreed upon fee. However, if the dancer curled your toes, and you would like her to spend some time with you back at your table, by all means tip her. She deserves it!

Am I allowed to touch the dancers?
You may not legally touch the dancers at any club. And in most cases these days you will not be able to touch the dancers illegally either. The attitude of many dancers is changing these days. We were specifically told by a dancer, "We are fantasy entertainers, not whores!" This seems to be the growing trend. If you touch a dancer during a private dance you may be rebuked by a bouncer or by the dancer herself. If you touch a dancer on stage, you risk being kicked out of a club. But if you were to ask a dancer if you can touch her, she might let you. If done in a fashion that doesn't attract attention from club security, some dancers will allow you to touch them. Also, be aware that buying large numbers of dances from a dancer has been known to relax attitudes towards light touching.

Why can't I buy alcohol in a nude club?
When a club servers alcohol, local governments can dictate how much clothing a dancer must wear and how close they may get to customers. By contrast, local governments have less control over conduct in clubs that do not serve alcohol. In most areas the local government agency will not allow alcohol to be sold where the dancers go completely nude. Most areas will however let you bring in your own beer for a premium charge. We have also found a few areas where all Nude clubs are permitted to sell alcohol, but this is rare.

Will clubs allow me to bring my wife or girlfriend in with me?
Most clubs will allow women customers these days. There are still a few that will not allow women, so calling ahead is not a bad idea. It is becoming common ground for not only women to be allowed but welcome. A large number of clubs are even hosting "Amateur Night" once or twice a week. Of course this is also a good way for clubs to hire new talent, so why wouldn't they? Women customers also seem to receive much better laps, so if you want to see some hot action, bring your lady friend, you most likely will have a great time!

Can I bring alcohol into the clubs?
Well, obviously, for the clubs which already serve alcohol, the answer is a definite NO! If you want to get kicked out, you can try slipping something in. However, when it comes to nude clubs, there are several areas that allow customers to bring their own beverages in. In some cases just beer and wine products, in some cases any goes. Most clubs do charge a premium for you to bring in your own drinks. The average these days seems to be about 2.00 a drink. Many clubs that have B.Y.O.B policies charge by the six-pack only. So just bringing the 40 oz. in won't always work.

How do I get a dancer to go home with me?
First of all, the dancers are at the clubs to work. Yes, work. Believe it or not, they are not there to get picked up. One dancer we interviewed put it to us in these words, "I am a fantasy entertainer, not a whore!". Enough said! Sure, some may make you feel like you might have a chance, but hey, reality hurts. Get over it. Now there's always a chance you might meet a dancer that will date you, just as you might meet a girl in the produce isle lf the local grocery store. But the chances are slim.
Just remember when you go to a strip club you are there for entertainment. These girls are someone's sister, someone's daughter, show them a little respect. If you do you're more likely to have a better time!

Will I be asked to leave if I don't want a table dance?
The majority of strip clubs want you to have a good time so that you will come back often, and even suggest to your friends to visit them. It is in their best interest to make you feel comfortable and under no pressure to buy table dance after table dance. So, don't feel put out if you are not in the mood for a table dance. Just politely tell an inquiring dancer, "Not at the moment, Thanks." If the club or dancers treat you like a leper because you pass on table dances, simply take your dollars and go elsewhere. There are always other clubs waiting for an opportunity to treat you (and your dollars) like a king.

When is the best time of the day to visit a strip club?
Well this depends on what you like. If you are the type who likes a constant parade of new dancers, plan your club visits to straddle the dancers' shift change. At most clubs, the day girls leave between 6pm and 8pm, with the new girls coming on board to take their place. If you prefer a more exciting atmosphere with a larger crowd, we suggest showing up a bit later. Ten or Eleven in the evening seems to be the electric atmosphere time. If you like a lot of personal attention, 2pm to 4pm is usually a bit slower, thus the girls are willing to work a little harder for you.

Should I only go to a club if I have some friends to go with?
Never worry about visiting a club by yourself. In fact, fully 50% to 60% of the men you meet will be traveling businessmen who have come alone. The goal of the finest establishments is to make all visitors feel comfortable. They understand that each man walking through the door is vital to their business.

What are "Pasties"?
In some backwards cities it is illegal to have a naked "nipple" so instead of having the girls wear bikinis they wear "pasties" which like the name implies is just something pasted on their nipple so that you still see the rest of the breast. In some places they actually use clear latex so you can still see the nipple but it is "covered".
